Für meinen Aufenthalt auf Madeira wählte ich das Hotel Quinta Jardim da Serra. Ausgestattet mit den wichtigsten Informationen verbrachte ich den Nachmittag damit die schöne Altstadt zu erkunden. Mein Rundgang führte mich vom alten Zollhaus Alfandega Velha, zur ältesten Festung der Stadt Palacio Fortaleza Sao Lourenco bis hin zum Stadttheater.
